For the last 100 years ago, Grands Moulins de Paris, a company of VIVESCIA cooperative group, has been bringing grist to the mill, going against the grain, baking up a storm, and separating the wheat from the chaff!
To celebrate its centenary year, starting at 5 PM on Wednesday 2 October, Grands Moulins de Paris is inviting its customers and stakeholders (politicians, federations and administrations, partners, journalists, and suppliers) to learn more about grain at Paris Diderot University, on the site of the historic mill where everything began for Grands Moulins de Paris back in 1919.
On the agenda: a trip through the history, economics, and heritage of bread – from field to fork – as well as a look to what the future holds, with roundtables in the presence of guest speakers and experts, followed by a festive drinks reception to celebrate its 100th anniversary!
This event aims to promote the Grands Moulins de Paris brand and reinforce its positioning as a key player on the French milling industry – bridging the gap between French farming excellence and the artisan baking know-how – and a pioneer since its creation after the First World War up to the present day.
