The Role

Our Production team rotate across the different areas of the factory so you will be doing a variety of tasks including traying up and glazing products prior to baking, packing finished items, operating equipment and palletising. Team work is important to us so everyone takes responsibility for cleaning up as they go and for making sure that everything we do is to the highest Food Safety, Health and Safety and Quality standards. You will need to complete a Level 2 Food Safety certificate and we will give you the training to enable you to achieve this. And of course, you will take part in our Taste Panels to ensure that everything we make is absolutely delicious! 

The Package

In exchange for your hard work and commitment, we offer you:

  • Days: £8.91 an hour rising to £10 an hour from 1st January 2022
  • Nights: £9.57 an hour rising to £10.70 an hour from 1st January 2022
  • Plus £94 Attendance Allowance for every block of 4 shifts that you work till the end of 2021
  • Enhanced overtime rates (£25 for each additional shift worked Monday to Friday and £50 for each additional shift worked at the weekend) till the end of 2021
  • 4 on, 4 off shift pattern – fixed days or fixed nights
  • 6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6am
  • On Site Canteen

Profil :

The Person

You don't need to have had previous food manufacturing experience (though of course, it would be great if you did!) because we will train you in full. But you must be reliable, hard-working and a great team player who is willing to learn. It is a fast-paced working environment and you will need to be flexible as you will be responsible for a range of different tasks every day. You will need great attention to detail and a keen desire to deliver a first-class product to our customers plus good spoken and written English.

Sales are high and we are busier than ever so come and join our Production team and help us bake and pack our delicious products. We work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern with 12 hour fixed day and night shifts and because of the current high levels of demand, there are plenty of opportunities to work additional hours.
