Processing activities

VIVESCIA is the majority shareholder, with other regional shareholders, of Siclaé, an industrial primary processing group for plant matter.

Alongside its original food processing businesses (malt production, milling, frozen bakery, corn processing, starch-glucose production, and animal feed), Siclaé has developed an activity in the production of molecules from renewable carbon sources, for biodiesel, cosmetics, succinic acid, surface active agents, etc.

VIVESCIA, meanwhile, is involved in the production of first generation bioethanol, and a partner of Procéthol 2G, which is driving the Futurol project for the production of 2^nd generation biofuel.

Thus, VIVESCIA, has an international industrial dimension and is playing an active role in preparing for the challenges of the post-oil period.
